Who am I?

Who am I?

I am a year 7 student at Ruapotaka School. I am 11 years old and my birthday is in December. My teacher is Mrs. Golder.

I have short, black hair. My eye colour is dark brown, but when the sun shines in my eyes they turn light brown. My skin colour is brown. I have average-sized ears and a round head.

My voice is not high, but it’s not low either. It is pretty much in between.

My favourite activities are playing rugby league, reading books, going to the library and eating ice-cream.

My favourite foods are ice-cream, french fries, spicy chicken nuggets, salad and fresh baked cookies.

I love learning new experiences in Room 12.  I hope to be in the same class next year, to challenge my learning.

Senior Syndicate Assembly

Last week on Monday, the seniors of Ruapotaka School, had a syndicate assembly after lunchtime. Miss Misela, the Room 9 teacher, had her first senior syndicate assembly that day. My class Room 12 hosted the assembly. We sang songs like Be Happy by Velody, Roar by Katy Perry and Little Me by Little Mix. We also entertained the students from the seniors with a Celebrity Show. What a great way to kick of the week.

Duffy Theatre 2016

Three days ago after interval, Ruapotaka School had another Duffy Show. It was special because it was the first ever Duffy Show for 2016. My favourite part was singing the Duffy Song.

Tabloids Is Fun

On Wednesday after lunch all of Ruapotaka School had Tabloids. When the bell rang everyone had to go to their classrooms for the roll and after that we walked up to sit under the shelter near the staffroom. It was hard to fit all of us under there but we could all fit. For tabloids my favourite activity was Mr. Reid's one. We had to hit coconuts.
